The Lose it for Liz (#LoseItForLiz) fundraiser was a success. The Cedar Park Professional Firefighters Association was able to raise $5,500 to help Liz and her family. If you were unable to make it out Saturday, and still want to donate you can. Go to any Wells Fargo bank and ask to donate to the Liz Cancer Fund.
Liz Poole is a Williamson County Paramedic who was diagnosed with cancer. Liz is a mother of three with a husband who is enlisted in the United States military. While her husband is deployed defending our freedom, Liz serves our community. Liz is a paramedic, a wife, a mother, and on top of it all, she is a fighter!
Special thanks to all the members that came and helped from Williamson County EMS, Cedar Park Police Officers Association and the Cedar Park Firefighters Women's Auxiliary. A special thank you to the Ranch at Brushy Creek HOA for spreading the word, for letting us use your park on short notice, and for the donations.
Please keep Liz in your thoughts and prayers.
Fraternally,
Cedar Park Professional Firefighters Association
